Why on Wheels

Meet Rusty Smith

An Indigenous man from the mountains of Santa Barbara, known for his beautiful 1956 Nomad and as the man with no shoes. To honor his Native roots, Rusty placed Indian Head nickels into the plug holes of his Nomad, weaving culture, pride, and remembrance into the details of the car itself.
